My name is Minjin Batzorig.
I graduated in 2024 from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelors of Fine Art. Currently, I work at George Mason University as a Makerspace Operations Coordinator to expand my skills at teaching and learning ways to optimize makerspaces for users from all fields.
My work explores the modern imprints of Mongolian nomadic traditions by weaving together lived experiences and imagined dreams. Through my art, I highlight everyday expressions of love, belonging, and connection—gestures embedded in the architecture of nomadic life. These interactions serve as a lens for exploring one's personal sense of comfort across various landscapes and structures—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional.
I am currently based in Washington D.C. and seeking opportunities to show my body of work.
Thank you!
